Driving with flat tire leads to numerous charges for driver: OPP

Police say officer noticed various issues with vehicle during traffic stop that led to several charges being laid

A Midland man is facing a number of charges after being pulled over for driving with a flat tire Wednesday.

A Southern Georgian Bay OPP officer was patrolling on Golf Link Road in Tiny Township shortly after 2 p.m. and noticed a pickup truck with a flat rear tire. The officer pulled the vehicle over and noticed other issues with the truck.

Brandon Jacques, 25, has been charged with operation while prohibited, driving while under suspension, operating an unsafe vehicle, having improperly installed tires, driving without a currently validated permit, having improper tires, having an improper braking system, and failing to have an insurance card.

He is set to appear in court July 4.
