A kayaker who was reported missing in the early hours of Sunday has been found deceased, according to police.
Orillia OPP were contacted at approximately 3 a.m. July 2 regarding a male who had gone kayaking and failed to return to his group's campsite.
The OPP located an overturned kayak on a small lake near Severn Falls.
In a news release, police said at approximately 4:30 p.m., the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit located the 21-year-old male resident of the Township of Ramara deceased.
Search crews also included the OPP Emergency Response Team and OPP Aviation Services.
