Five people were injured, one seriously, in a collision Saturday afternoon in Oro-Medonte.
In a tweet, police said Orillia OPP responded to a two-vehicle crash at about 3:30 p.m. on Old Barrie Road at Line 7.
The driver and a passenger in one vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries, while another passenger was airlifted to Toronto with serious injuries. The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Old Barrie Road is expected to be closed at Line 7 for several hours, according to police, who are asking people to avoid the area.
