Ontario Provincial Police are reporting only minor injuries related to a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 400 late Saturday morning.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said the crash occurred in Highway 400 South lanes near Innisfil Beach Road shortly before noon.
“(There were) five vehicles involved … One vehicle took off,” he said of the incident, which closed all Highway 400 South lanes.
Crews were working to clear the lanes around 12:30 p.m., Schmidt added, noting he expected the highway to reopen to traffic shortly after.
The investigation is ongoing.
