A Bracebridge man is facing luring charges after police were contacted by someone claiming to have been harassed.
Shortly before 2 p.m. Dec. 15, Bracebridge OPP responded to a report of someone being harassed by an unknown individual on Manitoba Street.
A 33-year-old man has been charged with luring a person under 18 years of age. The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing and was set to appear Friday in court in Bracebridge.
A publication ban was issued to protect the identity of the victim, so the name of the accused will not be released and further information will not be provided, police said in a news release.
