Head-on crash sends one person to hospital: OPP

One person was extricated and transported by ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries

SPRINGWATER TWP. — Members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with emergency crews were called to a collision this morning just after 10 a.m., which occurred on Wilson Drive between Snow Valley Road and Carson Road in the Township of Springwater.

Two vehicles travelling on Wilson Drive were involved in a head-on collision.

One person was extricated and transported by ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Wilson Road was closed temporarily for a police investigation, and the roadway has since reopened.
