Heavy police presence in Mary, Douglas Street area tonight

There has been a heavy police presence in an Orillia neighbourhood since this afternoon.

In a Tweet, the OPP say they are on the scene of a residence near the intersection of Mary Street and Douglas Street.

The OPP are "advising residents to avoid the area and to stay indoors."
