Man arrested for damaging Bracebridge restaurant window: OPP

Police say man damaged window after refusing to pay for his food

A man has been arrested after allegedly damaging a window at a restaurant in Bracebridge.

At 10 a.m. Saturday, Bracebridge OPP responded to a 911 call from a “quick-service restaurant” on Wellington Street near Monck Road, according to a news release.

Police were told a customer damaged a window after refusing to pay for his food. The suspect was located nearby and arrested.

Brendon Brownlee, 34, of Bracebridge, has been charged with mischief. He has a Jan. 23 court date in Bracebridge.
