A Christian Island man has been charged after police received numerous calls from downtown Midland businesses about “erratic behaviour” Thursday.

Shortly after noon, police were called about someone “jumping in front of vehicles and causing a disturbance in the banking community,” according to a Southern Georgian Bay OPP news release.

Police later learned the man was wanted by Anishinabek Police Services’ Christian Island detachment.

The 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
