Returning to the scene of the crime is never a good idea. But that appears to be what a Hunstville man did recently.

Police say they were contacted by a local brewery after a "suspicious male" attempted to return stolen beer kegs to the brewery.

Huntsville OPP officers began an investigation and were able to determine the male had been behind keg thefts that had impacted several area businesses.

Aron Lamoureux, 38, of Huntsville is facing several charges:

  • Mischief - destroys or damages property
  • Two counts of break, enter a place - commit indictable offence
  • Three counts of theft under $5,000
  • Two counts of trafficking in stolen goods under $5,000 (including possession with intent to traffic)

Lamoureux is scheduled to answer to his charges at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
