A multi-vehicle crash has entirely shut down Highway 12 near Digby Road in Oro-Medonte tonight.
A reporter on the scene said three patients were transported to Orillia's Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. The severity of the injuries are not known, but multiple ambulances are at the crash site alongside Orillia OPP officers and various units from the Oro-Medonte Township Fire Department.
Police are asking people to avoid the area as both lanes of the highway are closed. It's unclear when the highway might reopen.
