One person is dead and another has life-threatening injuries following a collision Wednesday on County Road 27 between Flos Road 3 and Horseshoe Valley Road.
Emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle crash that occurred at about 10 a.m. Huronia West OPP said the lone occupant of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle was taken to a Toronto-area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
County Road 27 is expected to remain closed between Flos Road 3 and Rainbow Valley Road for several hours. There are detours in place.
Police are still investigating the cause of the collision. Anyone who witnessed it or has video/dash camera footage is asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
