OPP investigating theft of tools in Gravenhurst

Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the theft of multiple tools from a construction site on Talisman Drive in Gravenhurst that occurred sometime overnight on Dec. 7, 2022 or during the early morning hours of Dec. 8, 2022.

Stolen tools are valued at approximately $2,200 and several of the tools have notable initials “SP” engraved into them or “CG” written in black.

Police are asking anyone who may have surveillance footage in the area around the Talisman Drive/George Beard Lane/Edward Street area to check their footage.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incidents or may have seen suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact the Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122 to assist in these investigations. Individuals may also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.crimestopperssdm.com. Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display, and you will remain anonymous.
