An Orillia man is facing child pornography and voyeurism charges following a police investigation.

On Sunday, Orillia OPP was made aware of photos and videos on a cellphone that appeared to be child pornography and “videos of unsuspecting people,” police said in a news release.

Ian McFarlane, 37, has been charged with voyeurism and possession of child pornography. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

A publication ban was issued in court Tuesday, and police said no further information about the investigation will be released.
