The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating an assault that occurred in the downtown area of the City of Orillia.
On Feb. 19 at approximately 8 p.m., Orillia OPP received information that an injured male had attended a local establishment with injuries.
The initial investigation shows that an unknown male had assaulted the victim. Police believe there were witnesses, including those who assisted the victim.
