Orillia OPP Auxiliary collects 1,489 pounds of food for Sharing Place

Members of the Orillia detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Auxiliary program organized and collected food in partnership with the Sharing Place Food Centre and Zehrs Orillia this past Saturday, April 9.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, Auxiliary members were able to collect over 1,489 pounds of food items and $1,441 in monetary donations to support the Sharing Place.

“It is wonderful to see the Orillia OPP Auxiliary continuing to strengthen our community through supporting community partners. We could not provide the support we do at the Sharing Place without the collective impact of amazing partners like the OPP Auxiliary,” said Sharing Place executive director Chris Peacock.
