GRAVENHURST – Police are crediting the actions of employees as well as participation and information from other patrons that resulted in an arrest in an impaired driving investigation.
Bracebridge OPP say they received a call on Oct. 21 at 2:25 a.m. after employees of a local licensed establishment in Gravenhurst became concerned about a driver's ability to safely operate their vehicle.
Police responded and after an investigation, arrested and charged a North Bay resident.
Tyler McKay, 32, is charged with operation while impaired and over 80cc, the OPP said in a news release.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on Nov. 14.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and McKay is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
