Police are investigating a break-in and theft that occurred early Wednesday morning at a retail business in Gravenhurst.
Just after 4 a.m., Bracebridge OPP responded to the business on Muskoka Road, near Sharpe Street. The business owner was alerted to the break-in and called police.
The suspect smashed a window to get into the business, stole a cash box containing money and fled the area on foot. The empty cash box was found in a nearby parking lot.
The suspect is described as a male wearing black winter boots, dark pants and a black jacket with a blue hoodie over his head. He appeared to have his face covered.
