Police investigating possible drowning near Moose Deer Point in Muskoka

Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched at 1:10 p.m. today (July 2) to attend a possible drowning in Arnolds Bay near Moose Deer Point after members of the public saw a man having difficulty in the water, slipping under and seemingly did not resurface.

Officers, along with Muskoka EMS, Moose Deer Point Fire Department, the OPP Marine Unit and the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) attended and are currently searching the area for the person.
