(UPDATE: Youths arrested) Police probing mischief incidents at Bracebridge cemetery

Three youths between the ages of 12-13 are facing charges of mischief over $5,000, say OPP who were grateful for tips from the public

UPDATE:

Bracebridge OPP have arrested three people, all between the ages of 12 and 13, in relation to the mischief incidents at a cemetery in Bracebridge.

Police "are grateful for the tips and information that was received that has led to the identities of the people responsible for the damage," an official said in a statement issued Monday afternoon.

Each of the three youths have been charged with mischief over $5,000. Their identities are protected under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).

Police are investigating mischief that occurred at a Bracebridge cemetery.

Bracebridge OPP was contacted by a groundskeeper at St. Thomas Cemetery on Manitoba Street, who reported damage had been done to 23 doors on the columbarium. The mischief took place sometime between April 15 and 20.
