BRACEBRIDGE - On Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019 at 10 a.m. Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a fail to remain collision that occurred on Bay Street at Greavette Street in Gravenhurst.

The victim had been traveling west on Bay street through the S-bend and was about to continue down toward the Muskoka Wharf area when a vehicle that had been stopped on Bay Street, waiting to turn north onto Greavette Street, advanced before the victim had completed the turn and caused a collision. The victim's vehicle suffered moderate damage and the suspect vehicle fled the scene, last seen eastbound on Brown Street.

The suspect vehicle is described as newer model dark grey or black Dodge 1500 series pick-up truck with tinted windows and a hard tonneau cover. It should have front end damage.
