'Poor driving behaviour' landed a man in hot water with police in the wee hours of the morning Friday.

At 2:34 a.m. Friday, Rama Police Service officers saw a motor vehicle being operated 'with poor driving behaviour,' notes a media release.

As a result of this "traffic stop," police arrested and charged the driver, Nathan MacDuff, of Wasaga Beach, with impaired operation.

The vehicle the 46-year-old was driving has been impounded for seven days; MacDuff's driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days.

"Police remind motorists that if you are out and choose to consume alcohol, you should always make alternate plans to get home safely. Driving impaired is never worth the risk," Rama Police stressed in its media release.
