Ramara driver charged with impaired

A Ramara resident has been charged with impaired driving in Orangeville.

Dufferin OPP said in a news release officers were “led into an impaired operation investigation” in a parking lot shortly after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Kyle Riley, 29, has been charged with operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus) and having care or control of a motor vehicle with an unsealed container of liquor.

The driver’s licence of the accused has been suspended for 90 days and the involved vehicle will be impounded for 14 days.

The accused has a November court date in Orangeville.
