A suspect has been arrested following a robbery Feb. 4 at a business in Orillia.

Police have arrested a Ramara man in connection with a robbery on the weekend at a Murphy Road business in Orillia.

At about 3 p.m. Saturday, Orillia OPP responded to a weapons call at the business. A man had entered the store, filled a cart with items and tried to leave without paying for them.

When confronted by a staff member in the parking lot, the man displayed a firearm before fleeing the scene, police said.

Ayden Sedore, 19, has been arrested in relation to the incident. He is being held in custody pending a court appearance Monday.
