A quantity of cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine in addition to break-and-enter tools were seized following a routine traffic stop in Gravenhurst Thursday.

An area man is facing multiple charges after being stopped by Bracebridge OPP officers conducting "general" patrols in Gravenhurst.

Officers stopped a vehicle on Veteran's Way on Oct. 18 due to a Highway Traffic Act violation. But it turned out to be much more.

During the investigation, officers found various drugs and break-and-enter tools.

As a result, Branden Reed, 30, of Gravenhurst, has been charged with three counts of possession of cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking. He was also charged with possession of break-and-enter tools contrary to the Criminal Code.

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on Nov. 29, 2022
