Three charged after 'serious assault' at 'busy residence'

Three people are facing charges after what police are calling a “serious assault” in Gravenhurst.

On Feb. 1, Bracebridge OPP began an investigation into an assault at a “busy residence” on First Street South, police said in a news release. The victim was able to leave the home and was taken to hospital with “significant injuries” to his face.

Travis Shelton, 30, Joshua Hummel, 33, and Raymond Shaw, 44, all of Gravenhurst, have been charged with assault causing bodily harm. They will appear in court in Bracebridge at a later date.
