Two Huntsville women charged with drug trafficking

Two Huntsville women face serious charges after police stopped a vehicle on Highway 11 in Gravenhurst this week.

Police seized cocaine valued at $20,000 and a set of brass knuckles.

This month the OPP Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit conducted an investigation into drug trafficking in the District of Muskoka. On June 22 they made their arrests.

Police have charged 30-year-old Kearsten Lumley with:

  • Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
  • Fail to comply with a release order
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Lumley was held for a bail hearing.

Police have also charged Danielle Gill, 29, with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Gill will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on Aug. 1 to answer her charge.
