Two local men charged after cocaine, weapons seized: OPP

Two people are facing charges after police seized cocaine, weapons and cash Thursday morning in Midland.

A search warrant was executed by Ontario Provincial Police at a residence on William Street. In a news release, Southern Georgian Bay OPP said “several people” were arrested.

Timothy David, 42, and Trevor Arthurs, 51, both of Midland, have been charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking. David was also charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. Both were released from custody and have a March 28 court date in Midland.

Police said one other person was arrested at the scene “and processed for offences involving other active cases.”
