Two people in custody after shots fired at Orillia residence

Police say officers attended the area around 2 a.m., Tuesday, and located 'apparent gunshot holes' at the home

Provincial police are investigating after gunshots were fired at a local residence this morning. 

Orillia OPP say they have two people in custody, but have not announced any charges. 

At approximately 2 a.m., Jan. 10, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call for reports of gunshots at an Orillia home.

"Officers attended the area and located apparent gunshot holes at a residence," police said in a news release.

Police did not release the exact location where the incident took place.

"Investigators believe this is an isolated incident and there are no concerns for public safety," OPP said in a news release.
