A speeding incident last week on Highway 400 north of Barrie led to charges for Midland man.
At 6:30 a.m., April 6, Ontario Provincial Police say the 28-year-old man was caught going 172 kilometres per hour in the southbound lanes on Highway 400 near Forbes Road. The posted speed limit is 100 km/h.
The man was charged not only with stunt driving, but also driving without a licence.
He was issued a court date and the vehicle was impounded.
