The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad is requesting the public's assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of a breach of their Long Term Supervision Order.
Derek Powell is described as a white male, 54 years of age, 5'8" (173 cm) 260 lbs (118 kg) with brown hair and green eyes.
Powell is serving a seven year, six month and fifteen day Long Term Supervision Order for:
- Assault with a Weapon
- Threaten Death and Bodily Harm - 2 counts
- Forcible Confinement - 2 counts
- Assault Peace Officer - 2 counts
- Mischief
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order - 4 counts
The offender is known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area, Peterborough, Simcoe Region, York Region and Durham Region.
