UPDATE: Wanted man who eluded OPP for a month captured

UPDATE:

Huntsville OPP is thanking the public for their assistance in apprehending a dangerous, wanted man after Kyle Ball, 36, of Huntsville was arrested.

The accused has been held in custody pending the outcome of a bail hearing on Dec. 2, 2023.

ORIGINAL STORY:

One month later, the OPP is still looking for a 36-year-old suspect wanted for a serious assault in Huntsville.

The attack, which occurred in the early morning hours of Oct. 24, sent a man to hospital

The next day, a warrant was issued for Kyle Ball of Huntsville, who has a large tattoo on the right side of his face.

Ball is known to frequent the Huntsville and Almaguin Highlands areas. He is described as white, 5-foot-3, 125 lbs.

Police warn that Ball is known to carry weapons and should be considered dangerous. If spotted, people are urged to call the police and not approach.

Ball is charged with:

  • Aggravated assault
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
  • Mischief - destroys or damages property
