A 34-year-old Midland woman faces charges after a poppy box was stolen earlier this month from the Pita Pit location on King Street.
Ashley McLeod was arrested and charged Thursday with theft under $5,000 in relation to the incident that occurred Nov. 6.
McLeod, who was released from custody following her arrest, returns to court in Midland on Dec. 21.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP thanked the public for its help in identifying a suspect after releasing a photo from the restaurant earlier this week.
