A woman suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Ramara Township.
Orillia OPP Const. Ted Dongelmans said the collision happened just after 3:30 p.m. on Highway 12, between Concession Roads 2 and 3, south of Brechin.
The highway was closed for several hours while police investigated.
The lone occupant of the car, a 27-year-old woman from Barrie, was airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with “possible life-altering injuries,” Dongelmans said, but added she is now in stable condition.
A cause of the crash has not been determined and the investigation is continuing.
