Orillia District Chamber of Commerce’s Classic Golf Tournament takes place on September 21 with a shotgun start at 12:30 pm.

The Chamber, who has been “fostering prosperity for your business and your community since 1890,” is pleased to present this fun day of fresh air, a great sport, networking and tons of prizes.

This year’s Classic takes place at the Hawk’s Ridge Golf Club just outside of Orillia.

Allan LaFontaine, Executive Director, says, “We’re accepting registrations of single golfers or foursomes. Tickets are $150 per person and includes lunch, 18 holes, a power cart, swag bag and the reception. We have two hole-in-one contests: one worth $10,000 sponsored by Scott Walker of BMO Nesbitt Burns and another worth $13,800 sponsored by McLean & Dickey Insurance.

Additionally, we have a $50,000 shootout, which is a hole-in-one contest open to four golfers only who will be randomly selected from the early bird registrants. We also have putting, closest to the pin and longest drive challenges, and on-course beverage samples and giveaways. The networking reception will feature light refreshments, door prizes and a cash bar.”
