Marcus Sadeghi, owner of the MR.SUB Orillia franchise, has operated this location since 2013. He and his team take great pride and joy in providing hungry people with delicious sandwiches made from fresh ingredients, and in supporting the local community.

MR.SUB Orillia caters to every dietary need. Sadeghi explains, “We have two plant-based protein options (meatless meatball and Tex-Mex black bean). We also have a gluten free keto bun. Seeing that summer is around the corner, we know you’ll enjoy our salads and wraps too. For those that choose meat, all of our cold cuts are from animals raised without antibiotics.”

Eating delicious food from MR.SUB is easier than ever, thanks to the recent launch of its online platform for ordering, pickup, and delivery.

“We have a rewards program,” Sadeghi adds. “When you buy 9 subs the 10th is free. In addition, you get a canned pop and chips for free when you register online, redeemable within 10 days of registration. On each birthday, loyalty program members receive a small classic sub for free.”

The team at MR.SUB Orillia is very invested in the community. Recently they donated $10,000 to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation (OSMHF).

“I’m a firm believer that charity starts at home,” says Sadeghi. “I know for a fact that the hospital is in need of new equipment. My mother got sick in September and the hospital took care of her through a life-threatening situation. On top of that, health is very important to me, which is why I’m a fitness coach. As an advocate of inspiring people to live a healthy life, and with my personal family experience, it made sense for us to choose OSMHF for the donation.”

Additionally, Mr.SUB Orillia has donated menu items to Kayla Retirement Home and to The Lighthouse, among other donations throughout the community. Sadeghi also hires locally and when it was in operation, supported YMCA’s YouthQuest program.

He concludes, praising the team, “I honestly couldn’t do this without my staff. They are punctual, friendly and they take care of the cleanliness and the customers. I couldn’t have done this without them and I’m very thankful.”
