Tammy Grant of Tammies Place, located at 83 Mississaga St. W., was gearing up for her busy season when government regulations forced her to close due to COVID-19.
Tammies Place initially stayed open with the Meals on Wheels program, then later added the patio, delivery and take out.
Grant's sons set up an ice cream shop with 12 Kawartha Lakes flavours.
