Ian Richards says seniors are treated like garbage. I am also in my 70s and I and my friends feel we are looked upon as a curse.

We are probably the largest group needing health care and our health-care system is falling apart. Of course, it’s a socialist system and we see socialist ideas eventually collapse as they are simply not affordable.

We seniors also get our pensions. It’s our money but again we are treated as though we’re a drag on the country. We fought, we paid taxes, we raised children, we supported causes and fundraisers and yet we are considered expendable. Look at how our friends in long-term care, etc., are abused and treated.
