Police investigating skid steer theft from construction site in Ramara

The Orillia detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the assistance of the public for information regarding a theft of a skid steer from a construction site located in Ramara Township.  

On Aug. 16, 2021, police received a report of a stolen skid steer with a sweeper attached from a construction site on Rama Road.

The stolen skid steer from this occurrence is a 2002 40XT with a sweeper attached. 

If anyone has information regarding this theft or has seen this skid steer, you are encouraged to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.  You can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit your information online if you have any information on these crimes or any other crime.  Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display and you will remain anonymous. Being anonymous, you will not testify in court and your information may lead to a cash reward of up to $2,000.00.
