INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police are continuing their search for 75-year-old Kenneth Armstrong of Innisfil. Armstrong has been missing for over 24
hours from his home on Goshen Road.

Police and family members are concerned for his well-being. Kenneth is overdue for medication to control his diabetes and is suffering from Alzheimer's.

Over 50 officers from South Simcoe Police, Barrie Police Service, Ontario Provincial Police, York Regional Police, Go Transit Safety and Security and members of the Georgian Bay Volunteer Search and Rescue have been actively searching for Armstrong all day.

The search will continue into the night, with the OPP helicopter and the Barrie Police Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UOV) flying over Alcona using Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR). This activity will continue throughout the night and police are asking residents not to be alarmed by the activity.

Police are asking homeowners to be extra vigilant tonight. If you notice motion sensors activated on your property or if your dog is barking for unknown reasons, please consider that it may be Armstrong wandering on your property.

Additional police resources will be available all night to follow-up on any possible sightings. Please do not hesitate to call police with any information.
