Police are searching for a suspect following a break-in and theft March 17 at a Bracebridge restaurant.
In a news release issued Saturday, Bracebridge OPP said officers responded to a quick service restaurant on Depot Drive, near Taylor Road, shortly before 3 a.m. on March 18. An employee had shown up to start work and noticed damage in the restaurant.

Surveillance footage showed a suspect had pried open a window at 11:45 p.m., entered, and “crawled throughout the restaurant, accessing tills holding cash, ultimately making off with a small quantity of money,” police said.
The suspect was wearing black running shoes with white soles, navy blue sweatpants, a black long-sleeved shirt, a black balaclava, and black gloves. The suspect took off on foot through a wooded area behind the restaurant.
