A teenager is still figuring out some basic rules of the road, apparently.
South Simcoe police report pulling over an 18-year-old with a G2 licence on the 9th Line in Bradford West Gwillimbury March 29, after their vehicle was allegedly clocked travelling 174 kilometres per hour in a 60 km/h zone.
“Our officers are out on proactive patrol this holiday weekend,” the department said Saturday in a post on X, the social-media platform formerly known as Twitter.
The driver was charged, their licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded, police say.
