A truly uniformed ignorant insensitive comment. Someone failing to accept the seriousness of the pandemic reminds me of the ostrich with its head in the sand.

Asymptomatic and community spread - this emphasizes the importance not letting our guard down while out and about - wear the mask and keep physical distance. Undoubtedly there is more of it in the vicinity.

Because of covid I haven't been "downtown" lately so I can't speak for current status. However, last Spring, Summer & Fall I often saw OPP Officers on foot patrol downtown so I think you're blowing smoke.

So unnecessary. I presume slipping under the water means no PFD. Sad.

An early morning raid. A surprise attack while most are still sleeping. Well planned and executed. Job well done. Geesh!!

Skeezix. I get it. The blatant type of advertising I cited is all OK but the suttle little bit of realtor advertising on the "go slow" signs is not.

Do realtors' "For Sale" signs violate the bylaw? What about a few hundred election signs posted everywhere? Then there are the housing developers' large "A" frame advertising signs. How about businesses being run from home such as dog grooming? What about commercial vehicles all lettered up parked in residence driveways overnight and weekends? Then there are the roofers, window cleaners, landscapers who display their advertising signs during the job and for days later. I presume non of these are distracting or violate the sign bylaw. Or do they all get a special pass as bylaw enforcement looks the other way? But you darn well better not try to lessen the danger to kids with "drive slow" signs.

If the evidence necessary to support a charge was available a charge would be laid. Plain and simple.

Is the phone number and the actual address a secret? Maybe not everyone knows where the old donut shop was located.
