Local man faces drug charges after drug bust in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested three individuals for drug-related offences in Kitchener.

On Aug. 7, 2021 at approximately 1:30 a.m., members of the Neighbourhood Policing Central Division and Emergency Response Team responded to a call in the area of King Street East and Riverbank Drive.

As a result of the investigation, approximately half a pound of suspected crystal methamphetamine and an undisclosed amount of cash was seized.

A 28-year-old female from Grey County was arrested on an outstanding warrant and has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

A 28- year-old male from Simcoe County has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

A 36-year-old male from Grey County has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.
