Man faces impaired, stunt driving charges: OPP

On Thursday, May 12, just before 8 p.m., a Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police officer was conducting speed enforcement on Ecclestone Drive in Bracebridge when he stopped a vehicle travelling more than 50 km/hr in excess of the posted limit.

After a conversation with the driver and subsequent investigation, police arrested and charged 34-year-old David Farris of London, Ont., with operation while impaired, over 80 and stunt driving.

He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 7 to answer to his charges. Furthermore, his driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded.
