Police seek assistance identifying break-in suspect

White male broke into Laclie Street business earlier this week

The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a break and enter to a business on Laclie Street in the City of Orillia.

On Sept. 3, 2018 the Orillia OPP were notified of the break and enter to a local business. As a result of the initial investigation Orillia OPP Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) was dispatched to collect evidence. Officers determined that the incident occurred sometime between Sept. 2, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. and Sept. 3, 2018 at 10:20 a.m.

Investigators have uncovered video surveillance of the area.

The suspect is described as:

  • White male.
  • 25-40 years.
  • Approximately 6 feet tall.
  • Clean shaven.
  • Dark brown ball cap.
  • Brown hoodie.
  • Blue jeans.
  • Black and white sneakers.

The vehicle is described as: 

  • Black 2002-2005 Hyundai Accent
  • 2 door
  • Tinted rear windows
